When to use this
During onboarding (the wizard collects most of it), and any time something significant changes — new pricing, new value prop, a pivot, a new segment you're targeting.
What's in Business Context
The fields are intentionally short — paragraphs, not novels. The AI reads them as raw context, so prose works better than bullet lists:
- Product name — what you sell, in one phrase.
- About — 2–3 sentences on what the product does, written like you'd pitch it at a coffee meeting.
- Value proposition — the one-liner that explains why someone buys it (not what it does — why they care).
- Pricing — your tiers + price points, in plain text. AI uses this when it drafts replies that mention pricing.
- Common objections — the 3–5 things prospects push back on. The kit references these when generating playbooks and reply drafts.
- More context — anything else (case studies, differentiation, founder story). Free-form.
How to update it
- Open Settings → Profile from the avatar menu.
- Scroll to the "Business Context" section.
- Edit any field. Changes save when you blur the input.
- (Optional) Regenerate Growth Brain reports if pricing or value-prop changed substantially — they're frozen at generation time and won't auto-update.
Common questions
What if I sell more than one product? Pick the one that drives most of your outreach and write the context for it. You can have a paragraph in "More context" that mentions the secondary product as an option. We're building multi-product workspaces later.
Will my edits be visible to other AI features immediately? Yes for new generations. Existing Growth Brain reports stay frozen — you need to regenerate the affected sections to pull in the new context. See Editing and regenerating reports.
Should I write Business Context in English even if my market isn't? We recommend matching the language of your outreach. The AI generates in the same language the context is written in. If you sell in Arabic in GCC markets, write the context in Arabic.
