Monthly run limits per plan

How runs are counted, what hits the cap, and what to do when you’re out for the month.

Last updated May 27, 2026

TL;DR. Each Growth Brain generation counts against your plan's monthly AI-message quota. Free and Starter have caps; Pro and Team are unlimited. The quota resets on the 1st of each month.

When to use this

When the "Regenerate" button is grayed out, or when the usage meter at the top of your billing page is approaching the cap.

How runs are counted

A "run" is one report-section generation. Roughly:

  • A full Market Intelligence generation ≈ 1 run.
  • A Launch Blueprint generation ≈ 1 run.
  • A Growth Roadmap generation ≈ 1 run.
  • An Outreach Playbook generation (all personas) ≈ 2 runs.
  • A Content Arsenal generation ≈ 2 runs (one for pillars, one for post ideas).
  • A single section regenerate = 1 run.

Lead enrichment from the Find extension also counts as 1 AI message per lead — see Understanding your usage.

Caps by plan

PlanMonthly AI messagesGrowth Brain regenerations
FreeLimited (≈30/mo)Effectively 1 full set
Starter500/mo≈5 full sets
ProUnlimited (fair-use)Unlimited
TeamUnlimited (fair-use)Unlimited

Fair-use on Pro/Team means we don't enforce a hard cap, but a workspace running thousands of regenerations a day will get a friendly email asking what's going on.

What to do when you hit the cap

  1. Check the calendar. Quota resets on the 1st. If it's the 28th, waiting is fastest.
  2. Reuse what you have. Edit existing reports inline (edits don't count against quota) rather than regenerating.
  3. Upgrade. Open Settings → Billing and move to Pro or Team for unlimited generations. See Plan comparison.

Common questions

Do edits count against quota? No — only AI calls do. Editing existing report text is free.

Do failed generations count? No — if a generation errors out before producing output, the run is refunded to your quota. (Edge case: if it produces partial output and you regenerate, both attempts count.)

Can I see how many runs I've used? Yes — the usage meter at the top of Settings → Billing shows the count and the cap.
